Yesterday afternoon and evening I took the family out to buy the plants and seeds we wanted to plant in our garden. Our area didn't have a huge selection of plants, but we got the basics tomatoes, squash, bell peppers, cantaloupe, and strawberries. Then we also got some seeds such as Bush Beans, Kale, Carrots, spinach, garlic chives, and peas. I planted them all in our garden and I even had two strawberry plants left over so they went in the front yard too. I'm so excited to see how my plants do and to watch them grow! Most of all I can't wait to taste the fruits of my labor!!
This morning I got up early and made me and the kids a smoothie. I got the Jamba Juice prepackaged ones because they sounded good and easy. Once I know which ones I like I will try and make them on my own. Today I tried the orange madness one and it was delicious! Even my eldest who can be picky really loved it. Win-win.
We have a busy weekend planned with Easter festivities and fun so I may not get back here for a few days. Until then stay fruity and fresh!
